In the 2nd year you make the choice for Coach or Counsellor. During the year you broaden the knowledge in the specific area. You can start looking for a specialisation.

You achieve the title Professional Coach or Counsellor if you have acquired a lot of work experience under accompaniment of a supervisor or an intervision group.
Master is a title that we grant to people who have developed an unique own model of counselling or coaching, work and transfer this model to others, by e.g. books , cd's, Internet, workshops, trainings. These people create new trends.
If you already have a recognised counselling training then skipping one or more years or following courses at the same time is possible. Advance consultation with the academy for the best course of action is advisable. It is necessary that you prove that you have obtained a certain level. The practical experience is most important in this.
In Belgium we think in higher education/university terms . Since our training is of a different set-up, we cannot use this classification. Because we are frequently asked with what level of education the training of our academy can be compared, we give a general estimation, which we base on the degree of independent work, the abstraction level and gained experience in the field.
